Spreadsheets for Business Students (Promo Active Learning)

Aiming to provide a "user-friendly" guide for students on the many courses where acquaintance with the basics of spreadsheets is required, this book adopts a "learning-by-doing" approach demanding little input by the lecturer. It can be used on any machine/system with Lotus 1-2-3 version 2.0 (or above) or compatible spreadsheets such as VP-Planner and As-Easy-As. All the examples have a business emphasis and the student is encouraged to gain confidence progressively in the basics of constructing spreadsheet models, saving and retrieving files, graphics, printing spreadsheets and graphs, using a spreadsheet as a data base, and creating and using simple macros.
