Bulleid Pacifics on the Route from Waterloo to Weymouth

Trains from Waterloo to Bournemouth and Weymouth were steam-hauled until July 1967, making it BR's last steam-operated main line, and from the 1940s many were in the hands of Bulleid's well-loved 'Pacific' locos. These photographs of the 4-6-2s in action provide a fascinating and nostalgic journey down the line to the coast in the latter days of steam.
