History of a Six Weeks' Tour 1817

Mary Shelley's first published work describes the brief foray across devastated France made by Shelley, Mary and Claire Clairmont in 1814. With it are letters by Shelley dating from their 1816 summer in Switzerland (when they met Byron and Frankenstein was conceived), together with two written by Mary on their return to London. Finally, there is the earliest text of one of Shelley's greatest poems, Mont Blanc
