Jutland

A study of the Battle of Jutland from the German viewpoint, providing caverage of the action as well as a commentary on events. The book uses German official reports, unofficial papers, diaries and statements by German crew in order to provide insight into the German view of events: how the German commanders reacted at each stage; the tactics they employed; the successes and failures they felt; the opportunities they took and missed; and how they assessed the end result. Appendices list the personnel, vessels and weaponry involved.
