A Tale of Two Cathedrals: Old Sarum - New Salisbury

A brief guide to the 900 year history of Salisbury's cathedral. It explores the historical context of the construction of the original Romanesque building at Old Sarum soon after the Norman Conquest, and its move to the city of Salisbury in the 13th century. Interspersed with interesting 'asides' on important characters in the history of the cathedral, as well as features on the art and architecture of the building and its environs.
