Revelations in the D'Arc

This story occurs in the tumult of the Middle Ages in France, in the period from approximately 1380 to 1440. The events are intertwined with the lives of real historical figures. The key characters in the story are five very strong, extraordinary women: Catharine la Lapine, Christine de Pisan, Isabeau de Bavihre, Valentina Visconti, and Jehanne d'Arc. The fictitious central character, Catharine la Lapine who appears as a Spirit, is the main storyteller. The events that she encounters through her life, from the whispers of convents to the intrigues of the Royal Courts of France, place her at the centre of treachery and conflict. She becomes involved in the most intimate secrets of the Royal House of France, and is able to ultimately reveal the real truth about Jehanne d'Arc.
