Dale is a political publisher, commentator, author, and founder of the Politico's group of companies, who began his career as a political researcher in the House of Commons before becoming a lobbyist and financial journalist. He presents this text not to address the rights and wrongs of political or military strategy, but rather as a collection of personal memories, anecdotes and reminiscences of the Falklands War. It includes recollections of soldiers and sailors who fought in the war, as well as Falkland Islanders, politicians and journalists. Royalties of the book are being donated to the British Forces Foundation, whose aim is to provide morale-boosting entertainment to Britain's Armed Forces on Operations. Illustrated in b&w.
