The Fungi

This text will serve the needs of students and teachers engaged in the study of fungi. It begins with an introductory discussion of fungi, their thallus organization, cell ultrastructure, nutritional requirements, reproduction and classification given by various workers, and focuses on the up-to-date account of structure and reproduction in major taxa with emphasis on the main fungal groups.
