Theories of physical and social science contain some true insights and much socially and politically determined detritus, often boiling down to nothing more than neoliberal "establishment-generated bamboozlement," according to NuallÁin (director, Erigena College and Nous Research). Hoping to establish a "Noetic science" that recognizes science as active and context-dependent, he tours the physical and social sciences and points out such "bamboozlement." Having treated psychology and related matters in an earlier volume, The Search For Mind, he here explores physics, biology, economics, technology, politics, and sociology.
