Reflective Journal for Paramedics: A structured approach to reflection in practice

Reflection is a key component in modern healthcare and an integral part of all paramedic science programmes and practice in the United Kingdom. This diary gives you the opportunity to make notes about twenty-four incidents or situations you encountered, be it in practice or in simulation, through a guided approach. There are numerous reflective models that can be used for this purpose, but this diary is based loosely on Driscoll (2000) & Rolfe et al. (2001); it encompasses the three steps: What? So what? Now what? The last section is to note down references and sources that may be helpful or that are relevant to the reflection.
