UNCERTAINTY MEASUREMENT FOR LABORATORIES - CASE STUDIES (RRL)

Measurement uncertainty is required to be established for the laboratories in order to know the variation in the results occurring due to various factors. Knowing this variation would help the laboratories to plan its improvement and also compare its result with other laboratories. For estimation of uncertainty of measurement the repeat-ability and reproducibility studies are carried out. Measurement uncertainty is also requirement for ensuring the results of lab as per ISO 17025:2017 used for lab accreditation.This book explains the Measurement of Uncertainty concept in simple language.
