The Lucille Johnson Story: Financial Elderly Abuse of a Matriarch
Description:
This biography of Lucille Johnson and the other examples of financial abuse don't even scratch the surface of the ongoing abuse of this kind throughout this country. The examples of greed and elderly abuse gone on in this book mostly occurred in N. E. Portland within a 10 mile radius. I would like for anyone that reads this and have elderly love ones to reach out to them and check on them on a regular basis because you never know who or what is lurking around them if you don't ask. Had I listened to my friend or paid closer attention early on, there would have been a different outcome of what happened to my mother. Another thing I'd like to mention and that is since my mother passed away I've continued watching her favorite early morning programs, "Let's Make a Deal", "The Price Is Right," and "The Young And the Restless" and I think about her everyday. There is a special episode of "Let's Make a Deal" that I encourage all people who read this biography and are computer savvy to Google and watch. It is the episode that focused on Grand Parents Day and aired on Monday, July 23rd, 2018. It shows how mothers and grandmothers should be treated. It is too late for my nephews and nieces to appreciate it, because they already blew it as their grandparents are no longer here. But to all others, I highly recommend they watch that show.
