In The World Between

When we lose our sense of self, our sense of identity, it affects every aspect of our lives in negative ways. In The World Between takes the reader on the journey of a lost soul. Impacting this search for identity are the social injustice issues that continue to threaten the very core of our democracy. As a life-long advocate for social justice, it brings great pain when realizing the lack of progress made since the civil rights era of the 1960s. Why is this so? Why have I failed to help make positive change? And, why have I given up trying? When considering a purpose driven life, I have lost my sense of purpose. Of even greater concern is the lack of human intimacy in this writer's life. Life seems meaningless when one lacks true intimacy with another human being. Yet there is always a pathway back to a better sense of self, and intimacy. That pathway leads us back to God. Please join me on my pathway back.
