Radical pressure group Armswatch gets an unexpected boost to their anti-armaments campaign after they receive a tip-off from a whistleblower inside weapons manufacturer Bartolome Systems. When Armswatch claim that a Bartolome employee has taken a bribe to redirect an arms shipment to a third world dictatorship, DS McGraw investigates the allegation and discovers Bartolome has enjoyed special status for reasons of national security, but is now struggling for its own survival. The death of a prominent politician draws McGraw into a dark corner of the arms trade where the ethics are negotiable.
