Coral reefs are places of amazing diversity, where thousands of different animals and plants struggle for survival every day. Find out about different animal's relationships with the reef and explore the impact of humans on the reef as well. This nonfiction, guided reading level N/30 has beautiful and unusual photographs and excellent examples of text features. I'm including a 16 page Teacher's guide with notes for Before, During, and After Reading, black line masters, Task Cards, a focus sheet and other suggestions. This book could be projected to use whole group and copies made from the Teacher's Guide for everyone. It would also be great for research or independent reading.
