An Outbreak of Peace

Sarah Pirtle is the author of An Outbreak of Peace which received the Olive Branch Award for outstanding book of the year on world peace. Her nine recordings include "Everyday Bravery" for adults and "Two Hands Hold the Earth" for children. The Children's Music Network presented her with the Magic Penny Award for lifetime achievement. For forty years she has led programs for young people about talking out conflicts and about believing in your creative voice. The two dozen illustrators of this book were essential participants in the development of this story.
