Clear: A Poetry Collection

Kait Quinn's third poetry collection, Clear, features poems written during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. From the seemingly bright beginnings of a short winter and a promising year to navigating isolation and social distancing to loss and grief, both as a result of the coronavirus and George Floyd's death and resulting unrest, Clear's poems reflect on life during an unprecedented time in our history.Clear does not end without remembering what 2020 taught us - about ourselves, about each other, about the skeletons our society is built on. Quinn takes us all the way through early 2021 and the hope that glimmers on the horizon as the COVID vaccine is distributed and we approach, finally, a clearing in a suffocating, virus-ridden wood.
