This bilingual book includes poems, dialogues, and meditations describing our experiences as women, daughters, friends, Latinas, and immigrants. We are perfectly imperfect. Alejandra Ramos Gomez is a poet, writer, and bilingual educator from Juarez, Chihuahua. Her experiences growing up on the U.S.- Mexico border, where femicides occur frequently, motivated her to use her voice to demand justice.
