High on the Vine: Featuring Yooper Entrepreneurs, Tami & Evi Maki (Cousins, Thrice Removed)

A collection of humorous short stories featuring Tami & Evi Maki, cousins thrice removed. The setting is Michigan's Upper Peninsula where the two Maki women lament the hardships of backwoods living. After a hostile takeover of their husbands' hunting camp, Tami & Evi pursue many entrepreneurial ventures, from vacation rental to chicken ranch to a winery run by the Benevolent Order of Sylvan Monks. The two Maki cousins often circle back to contemplate their husbands' various character flaws and domestic transgressions. The stories are loosely sequential and were previously published in UP Magazine.
