Friend of the Devil (The Bill Walton Mysteries)

Basketball legend and world's tallest Deadhead, Bill Walton is having a bad night. After another tough telecast struggling to get along with his broadcasting partner, Dave Pasch, he finds out his goddaughter has been kidnapped. Walton and Pasch can't go to the cops or the FBI, so they vow to rescue her themselves before it's too late. In James Kirkland's "Friend of the Devil," college basketball's Odd Couple follow the trail to the kidnappers while still managing to call a memorable Pac-12 Tournament in a hilariously sincere psychedelic mystery.
