Virtue of the Gods: The First Letter to Aloysius
Description:
This work is the first letter to my friend Aloysius regarding the "Virtue of the Gods." In the letter, I discuss the first virtue required to be one with the gods, which is: "a god walks through fire." This encompasses many ideas, including that a god fears not pain nor suffering, a god has confidence, self-belief, has concern for the present and future of humanity, a god has agency and intent. A god does not succumb to threats of hellfire. A god knows that faith is not a virtue - faith is lazy. Engaging in research, investigation, and critical thinking - those are virtues of the gods! From reading this letter, the reader may be inspired to assume his/her true nature as a divine being. The reader may come to see the responsibility which he/she has to create a heaven on Earth, and throughout this universe. Both the secularist, and the religious, may benefit from this perspective.
