This modern-day horror novel is set in southern Pennsylvania, where Arson Investigator Finch Kendrick and Police Detective Pete Thomson investigate a series of murders. At first, the murders appear to be copycat killings of witchcraft-related murders committed decades before. As Finch and Pete dig deeper, however, they realize that something far more sinister is afoot. Their search for the killers will take them down a dark path where the boundaries of reality become blurred and the belief in the supernatural becomes all too real, a path that will change both men’s lives forever . . .
