I Am A Black Man: Ascension of the Kings explores the realities of black men in America and the misconceptions that exist related to how they interact with their children, partners, and how they internalize the difficulties they've faced navigating the stereotypes that are part of the national narrative. The story is told from the perspective of eight black men who share their personal stories. Ascension of the Kings references their ability to rise above these forces while maintaining a place of leadership.
