Terrible Tigers will teach your young child what to do in the event of an active shooter situation. Whether it occurs in his or her school, a grocery store, or church, you can take comfort in knowing that your child will know how to respond. The author uses creative, fun, and kid-friendly characters like Officer Okapi, and Principal Porcupine to teach the three steps recommended by the US Department of Homeland Security to stay safe in an active shooter situation. The author developed this story with the intention of teaching young elementary aged children these actions in the least threatening way possible.
