Little Bird: The Place

Little Bird was her name. That is all she knew. Captured by the Apaches at the age of five. This is where her life and her soul started with the Apache. That life started with pain, suffering, blood, tears, fire, and death. Her life as Lizzie Bird started just as violently at about the age of twelve in the high Sierra Diablo Mountains in far West Texas in January of 1881. In both she lost a mother, in the first her birth mother. In the last her soul mother, the mother who still directed her. The mother who had hidden her, protecting and shielding her on that bone-cold morning of death flight and capture. The morning of her re-birth into the white world.
