America's Favorite Square Dancers, L D Keller and the Promenaders

The fates in 1952 brought together a group of enthusiastic square dancing students at a small Midwestern state college and a crusty postal employee who moonlighted as a square dance caller. Together they perfected a style of fast-paced square dancing combined with the fancy footwork of jigging. They became known as America's Favorite Square Dancers. This is their story.
