When she is adopted, Chi Chi's family realize that the bandages on her legs fall off easily. They decide to get her prosthetic legs, or "shoes," so she can run and play like other dogs. About the Author
Elizabeth Howell has been passionate about helping animals since she was a child. This book is based on the true story of a golden retriever that her family adopted named Chi Chi. Elizabeth hopes that everyone that reads this book will be inspired by Chi Chi's ability to never give up and be joyful, regardless of her circumstances.\nMidwestern resident Blayne Fox grew up romping through the Missouri woodlands, letting her imagination take flight to create magical kingdoms and creatures wherever she went.
