WAR IN THE LAND OF THE MORNING CALM contains first-person accounts of men and women who served in the Korean War. There is no plot. There are no explanations of grand strategies or political policies or any of the other bewildering activities behind the scenes of a nation at war. I simply hope thatthese vignettes, and brief accounts will convey the feelings and experiences of those of us who served.
