Summer Solutions Common Core English Level 2

Grade 2 Common Core English & Grammar Mechanics is for students who have completed 2nd grade. The Common Core State Standards require children leaving 2nd grade to understand and use nouns, pronouns, adjectives, and adverbs; to write simple, compound, and complex sentences; to apply appropriate capitalization and punctuation in their writing; and to spell words correctly based on generalized spelling patterns. The 30 lessons of mixed review over a 10-week period provide ongoing practice that ensures retention of these important language and literacy skills and concepts. By completing a lesson 3 times per week, students enter 3rd grade ready to learn new material right away.
