New author, Phil Stannard is not new to Vermont or Vermont lore. Born in Fair Haven, after World War II, he was molded by an ancestry that settled the town during the Revolution. He still resides on the farm his family settled in the 1770s.

Made in Vermont describes the special conditions and people that fought for and developed this unique place into what it was, what its' become, with a special focus on post World War II transformations and its political and economical landscape from 1945 until now.
