North River: A novel

For years Jim Delaney has been the neighborhood doctor for the down–and–out people of downtown Manhattan. But even as he cares for others‚ Delaney hides his private grief at the loss of his wife‚ Molly‚ who took a walk to the North River one day — and never came back.
