Each chapter is written using the SQR3 (S-Q-R-R-R) method. First, Survey each chapter. Then answer Questions raised on the reading. Third step is to Read the chapter carefully, one section at a time. Fourth is Recitation, where in one may make notes, underline, or process questions within each section to test comprehension. Finally, Review to test your comprehension by completing the self-quiz at the end of the chapter, review your notes or re-read the chapter.) Each chapter has learning objections at the beginning of the chapter, a summary at the end, and a self-test at the end.
