Passengers were unaware of the danger on the horizon, as the enemy was hidden beneath the surface of the ocean. When the iceberg was spotted by the crew, it was already too late. Like those on the Titanic, humanity is unaware of the doom that is lurking just ahead. The world thinks it has plenty of time, but once the trumpet has blown and Christ comes for the saints, it will be too late.
