Mists Over the Meadows: The Columns of Ron LeHew, Vol. 1, 1989-1991

Ron LeHew was born and raised in Salem, New Jersey, in 1945. He attended Salem City Public Schools graduating in 1963. He spent the next four years studying design and illustration at the Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia. In 1967, he accepted a job with Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1970, Ron started his freelance career in the Philadelphia/New York area. Some of his clients included Smithsonian Magazine, Reader's Digest, Fortress Press, Highlights for Children, And United Methodist Publishing House. He spent 20 years on the adjunct faculty of the Hussian School of Art teaching design and illustration. He lectured extensively at schools and colleges throughout the New Jersey area. He has written an award winning column for Today's Sunbeam Newspaper for 17 years and was contributing editor to The New Jersey Farmer magazine. Ron also enjoys his role as the Official Town Crier for Salem County.
