Reprint edition of this 1919 account of the 26th (Yankee) division of National Guardsmen of the New England area, tracing its shipment overseas in September of 1917, its training and combat experience in the Champagne-Marne, Aisne-Marne, St. Mihiel, and Meuse-Argonne actions, during which it suffered some 15,000 casualties.
