Bella and the Empathy Adventure

Building relationships is more than playing together or helping someone in need. Encouraging our children to develop empathy towards others is a foundation of a healthy relationship. This book offers children an imaginative story when Bella takes a journey to learn what empathy is and what to say and do to show empathy. Bella meets some forest animals who teach her the three important parts of empathy and she keeps these written on a star. She applies these to her relationships at school and learns they can be used in her everyday life. Discussion questions and activity pages are included to help children expand their understanding of empathy. Bella's adventure helps children build the social emotion that connects all of us.
