A New Wineskin
Description:
The book began as a Bible Survey course taught to seventh and eighth grade boys. Teaching the Bible made John and Linda look at the Bible differently. It was not enough just to read a verse. The new goal was to teach the meaning of that verse, ...any verse, ... to someone else. They had never read the Bible in quite that way, before. In the process, they began to discover some rather new ideas about the Bible. When John started to put this course down in writing, which became this book, he eventually realized that a totally new interpretation of the Bible was unfolding. Hence, a "new wineskin". As Jesus noted, you can not put "new wine into an old wineskin".
