SAS 9.1 Companion For z/OS, Volumes 1 and 2

A practical guide to learn about z/OS and SAS, this companion documents details of the user interface and SAS language that are specific to the z/OS operating environment. There are three main sections. The usage section shows you how to perform common tasks such as allocating and accessing files, customizing your SAS session, and redirecting the SAS log and SAS procedure output. The reference section describes SAS language features that are specific to z/OS or that have aspects that are specific to z/OS, such as system options, statements, and procedures. An applications section provides information about optimizing performance, using the SAS interface's SIP and HEX, and topics of particular interest to SAS programmers and system administrators.
