Led by the young hero Rain, the group escapes from a Southern plantation and start on their journey in search of freedom. A group of abolitionists as well as other freedom lovers help in the tricky task of smuggling humans through the Underground Railroad. Together the various groups comprise a team that pulls together with the common ideal of human freedom. That is spirit embodied in the story of Rain.
