The Preacher

The story follows Marshall Bennett's rise to CEO of a large denomination. Competing in a sighted world is a challenge for blind Marshall. As he climbs the ladder of denominational bureaucracy, he is astonished at the chasm between the lifestyle of church officials and ordinary laymen. His idea of serving others sharply contrasts with that of his peers. His belief system fails to give him balance between work and family. After officialdom, Marshall and his wife find fulfillment in pastoring a rural church.
