Baltimore County, Maryland Deed Abstracts 1659-1750

Tracing the descent of specific tracts of land has often revealed family relationships or clues to possible relationships that may not be apparent from other sources. This book contains chains of descent for hundreds of tracts originally surveyed in what is now Baltimore, Harford and Carroll Counties. Information was abstracted from the Baltimore County Land Records, Provincial Court Land Records and Rent Rolls. Many entries have additional notes on the location of the tracts. Records are arranged by name of tract with a chronological list of transactions. If a tract has been plotted on a map, the name of the map is given.
