A Is for America (Alphabet Books)

A is for America: Music CD, expands on popular children's book with a patriotic collection of songs. Devin is currently an anchor for the 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. news at the NBC affiliate in Detroit, WDIV-TV. A talented guitarist and singer, he has written and performed songs for an A is for America CD, recorded in Nashville. "The greatest part of writing the book and, in turn, the songs, was trying to separate the wheat from the chaff, and getting in touch with the things that make the United States so special to me," says Scillian, songwriter and anchor for Detroit's top-rated newscast. A self-proclaimed "military brat" who grew up all over the country, Scillian states, "For me, it was a very personal journey across America. Songs include and The First Man on the Moon.
