The Summer Stars

Britain's oldest poems were composed in the sixth century by the bard Taliesin, the subject of legends about "he of the shining brow". In this novel he tells his own story as his travels take him through turbulent times. The people of Britain must cope with the disappearance of Roman civilization as they deal with the increasing threat of Saxon invaders.
