A revision of the Self-Assessment Guide for Surface Water Treatment Plant Optimization to make it more friendly to users outside the US, primarily by using standard international units of measure and spelling that conforms to that used in English everywhere but in the US. It is intended to accompany the International Water Treatment Alliance program (or programme) being offered worldwide. It provides operating personnel with tools to identify areas for improving the performance of water treatment plants to enhance public health protection from microbial contamination.
