Coudersport Glass: 1900-1904

Coudersport Glass is named after the small community where the company made its respective bid to compete in a volatile marketplace. The company suffered severe setbacks. Fire roared through the glass plant just when it appeared to be on the brink of some major advances, destroying the hopes and dreams of hundreds who believed the facility was destined for great things. The rare pieces of glass that surface from time to time today in yard sales and antique auctions only tease us to speculate about what might have been.
