Dielectric and Mechanical Relaxation in Materials: Analysis, Interpretation, and Application to Polymers

This book describes dielectric and mechanical relaxation in materials from the molecular jumping processes. Jumping mechanisms are applied to small and large stress fields to develop a molecular picture for important commercial properties of polymers. Experimental results for the small stress fields are compared to theoretical results on polymers and polar liquids.
