Healing Life’s Deepest Hurts is an introduction to Theophostic Ministry, developed by Dr. Edward Smith to help Christians become "free indeed."
Two New Testament Greek words, Theos (which means "God") and Phos (which means "light") are combined to describe how the Light of the World, Jesus, can illuminate the darkness in our minds and bring us into wholeness.
All of us need to have our minds renewed, whether we have suffered severe traumas or not, and to experience the love of Christ on a deeper level. Our own best efforts cannot release us from lifelong fears, shame, false guilt, anxiety, and emotional pain. Only God himself can make it possible for us to reflect His character and life. Theophostic Ministry brings us to a place where God can do this.
