Enjoy Painting Fresh Florals
Description:
Watercolor & Acrylic painting book. Step by step instructions. Color photos of projects and patterns to guide you. PBS TV artist Susan Scheewe Brown. Spring and summer bring the promise of colorful flowers in bloom. Susan has painted a variety of favorites that will inspire you to pick up your brush and paint. A few of the projects include, delicate pink roses and violet blue hydrangea arranged in a watering can. Soft and gentle pink roses dance across the surface of the Hanji Rice Paper. Small pink roses and white daisies and tiny blue flowers cascade over the edge of a gardening basket. Creamy white delicate. Majestic pink stargazers in full bloom painted, gracefully open. Butter yellow daffodils, delicate pussy willow and forsythias create one of my favorite delicate bouquets. Tulips announce springs arrival in a delicate pink painted with crisp white narcissus and pink primrose in a fresh blue planter. Red tulips with luminous yellow narcissus and yellow primrose spring from a weathered clay planter in this delightful painting. Luscious, red geraniums in weathered clay pots, and red geraniums paired with violet, purple petunias are vibrant and a classic favorite. Plump blueberries spill from weathered clay pots in violets and blues. Sunflowers golden and bright like the sun are always a favorite subject. This is just a taste of the truly beautiful paintings in this book of Susans. This books is also a companion to a series of the Scheewe Art Workshop.
