An English Arcadia, 1600-1990: Designs for Gardens and Garden Buildings in the Care of the National Trust

Architectural advisor to the British National Trust, Gervase Jackson-Stops, has compiled over 100 drawings, watercolors, and engravings by the designers of park and garden features located on, or designed for, Trust property. Many of the well reproduced illustrations are in color, and in some cases are juxtaposed with photographs showing the present appearance.
