A POUND OF EXPERIENCE, A Pinch of Humor is a tasty concoction of previously published and unpublished slices of life, which resonate for all of us. Author Liz Swiertz Newman has a knack for seeing the humor in situations that crop up in our daily lives, and she is able to convey that humor to us through her writing. Many of these pieces were published in The Daily Pilot, a community newspaper of The Los Angeles Times. Despite Liz Swiertz Newman’s late start publishing her work, she is prolific.
